Preview: FC United v Congleton

FC UNITED'S management team is lost for words at the team's start to the season - they cannot find anything to criticise!

The Rebels' manager Karl Marginson has been at a loss as his side have racked up six straight wins at the top of the North West Counties League, ahead of tonight's home game with Congleton (7.45pm)

Marginson said: "It has made team talks a bit tough, because we are struggling to pull them up on anything! We can't even fine them for being five minutes late or anything, because everyone has been dead keen."

The pressure for places is intense with a strong first-team squad and the reserves top of their division - and even the new youth team began its league season with a 4-0 win.

Right-back Matty Taylor returns from holiday to challenge for a place tonight, while defender Dave Brown has left to join rivals Salford.

After playing six, winning six, scoring 25 and conceding 1 pen v. Glossop is hard to be critical. Perhaps Margi should just remind our players complacency is its own problem. I would like to wish Dave Brown all the best at Salford and thanks Dave. Bring on the Congi family. Viva la revolution, come on FC.

Stuart - why don't your stories stay on this FC webpage and stop confusing people that you are a MUFC fan. Just because SAF puts two sentences about FC in a book with over a hundred pages doesn't mean he give two snits about FC.

Tommy sunshine, SAF quite obviously gives a lot lot more than two snits about FC, arf.

His continuing comments can only serve to give FC more publicity, unfortunately for you.

At least the blues at Maine Road FC (website) have a sene of humour.

A year ago Ferguson did not know who FC United were ( "FC United - who are they?").

All I can say "Ferguson - who are you?"

FC won 3-0 last night. Oh, and Raymond. I urge every one to become members of Shareholders United, it is important for Fans to have a say in their club. Ferguson, 2004. They carried on to the degree where they actually thought they should have a say in the running of the football club. Ferguson, 2006.
