MARC PUGH marked his Bury debut with a goal, but the new Shakerés hot shot could not stop his team from drawing a blank at Sincil Bank.
Pugh, in for the injured Lewis Gobern, netted in the 37th minute with a wonder strike. But although Chris Casperés team battled bravely in search of a much-needed win, promotion chasers Lincoln spoilt the party.
Lee Frecklington levelled matters with just four minutes remaining and the home team took a share of the points. Earlier Hartlepool loan striker Jon Daly fired wide as Bury pressed for an opener, before Manchester City loan goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel made a smart stop to deny Scott Kerr.
Tom Youngs headed over in the 32nd minute and having scored the opener, Pugh went agonisingly close on the stroke of half time, only to see his powerful shot fly wide. The restart saw Schmeichel save well from Jeff Hughes, before midfielder Dwayne Mattis forced Lincoln shot stopper Alan Marriott to produce an excellent fingertip save from 25 yards out.
Frecklington then popped up to equalise and bury can be thankful of a point after midfielder Barry Murphy cleared a header off the line in the dying seconds.
WHAT did you make of Bury's efforts? Have your say.

Good point today Shakers and best of luck to you for the rest of the season. Let some southern teams go out I say, keep the northern teams in the league!
BTW is there a Matt here? He's known as Doormat over on the Stockport County page, CLAIMS to be a Bury fan but only seems to post over there though, not here? (Actually I think he likes me, you know, like that LOL)
Cheers,
Phil B^)
