Preview: Oldham v Barnsley

OLDHAM boss Ronnie Moore believes four wins from the Latics last five games will be enough to guarantee a place in the League One play-offs.

Athletic made it difficult for themselves by losing to bottom side MK Dons last Saturday and slipping out of the top six.

But Moore sees tomorrow's home game against Barnsley, who are only ahead on goal difference, as a chance to right some of last weekend's wrongs.

Moore said: "There are a lot of players who have a lot to prove and can gain revenge for that defeat. This is an ideal opportunity for them to put it right because this is their best chance to get in the play-offs.

"I have told them to forget about last Saturday because that has gone and we cannot do anything about it.

"We have five games left and if we win four of them I am sure that will be good enough to get us into the play-offs.

"You don't get these chances that often and we've got to make sure we take them when they come along.

"I think one or two players bottled it last Saturday but we aren't dead and buried yet, we've got a chance to put everything right."

Barnsley, who are managed by former Oldham boss Andy Ritchie, overwhelmed Moore's side in October going three-up within 15 minutes and running out 4-0 winners.
