FC United 1 Cheadle Town 1

CHAMPIONS-elect FC United had to settle for a 1-1 draw in their home Moore and Co Solicitors League second division derby with lowly Cheadle, which was watched by a crowd of 2,713, after being kept at bay by the visitors' stand-in keeper Ashley Stokes.

Stokes donned the green jersey when Troy Whittle was forced off injured early on and was beaten only by a Chris Simms equaliser after Aaron Riley had given Cheadle a shock lead.

I dont mind a game where we win, loosing or draw, but I cant be done with time wasters. That just about sums Cheadle up. Being local rivals I expected Cheadle to give us a good game. Instead, they adopted the Latino tactics of play acting and rolling around the floor like they had just been shot or something. There No. 4 should have been given an Oscar for his pathetic remonstrations to the ref when their keeper went down, who, was the only player who did get any sort of injury. The keeper was almost as big a winger as Tommy Tampa! And thats bad!! That coupled with atrocious refereeing created the most frustrating game of the season. Still, we wont play them again and we are a point closer to the finishing line. Viva la revolution, come on FC.

Here comes Tready. Looks like he has finally acknowledged Tommy as a winger. Course Cheadle only managed a draw by cheating. Not so magnamimous are you now. What a bad sportsman you are.

Free Tread - Great to see you acknowledge me before I am even able to receive the good news of the result from the FC United of Bury match. Losing is spelled L-O-S-I-N-G. You must have so much of it in your life you take the spelling of the word for granted. Loose is what you do to your belt after having too many beers at the pub watching MUFC. Who currently are on quite a winning streak!!! Which you know already. If you want to be non-league fans, great! But stop trying to pass off the "revolution" as anything but non-league football

Schizoy, you and Tommy have been winging a lost argument for eight months. Eight months and we are in better shape than anyone could have hoped. And yes, Tommy strikers me as a liar as well. We finally agree on something. Its unfortunate you are just as and nauseating and soulless as well.

PS Where does the non-fan friend of yours get off telling other people what they can and cant do in their own City not to mention Country. If you Castro mind back, I also remember him trying to tell people that they shouldnt like Cuba, the Cuban flag or anything else to do with a Country that the UK have amicable relations with. I dont remember any Cubans forcing their way of life with alien ideals on Manchester. But then again, I dont remember anyone in Iraqis doing that either. Little wonder that polls are showing a parting of the waves.

Forget about that tampa fraud, free red, yet again he resorts to pathetic insults and paltry corrections of other people's typing errors. Rich for someone who lives in a glass house! Accept he is a pathetic no mates who thinks he is funny with his stupid personal insults. As for FCUoM being a pub team, well we have to start somewhere. And Gretna is a great example of living the dream. Forza FCUoM

Johnniejohn, tunbridge wells. I know your right. At least their pathetic contributions are worth ten bob each to FC. I made a pledge to FC at heart, Moston on 02/03/2006 that I would donate that much to FC United for every post they make. And I will.

Poor game, Fc were sloppy and lacked any real energy, not helped by the pitch, cheadle's antics and a dodgy set of officials.

To be fair to the ref' though, he had the balls to come in the bar after and face the music, his take on the penalty was "I can't give it if I don't see it"

The fixture pile up must eventually tell on our 4 remianing title rivals. Winsford & nelson have particularly busy run-in's and once this weeks fixtures are over a much clearer picture will emerge. We're still looking good for promotion and the league title in our 1st season.

Tommy it looks like these FC fans have resorted to posting in code. Either that or they have been having an extended liquid lunch session. The crowd is heading south faster than a bird migrating for the winter. Here comes Tready is visibly cracking up. All this talk of United spending big (once more) in the sumer is totally inconsistent with their tiny shopkeeper mentality.

Malcolm instead of slagging other people off just answer this question.

why o why are these people online slagging off fc, are they scared that one day fc will be bigger and better than mufc. afterall mufc started off in the low ranks before fame hit them. we the lads from collyhurst are in it for the long haul, things can only get better the further we climb through the divisions, and if we are graced by the great football spirit maybe one day we will be in the preimership. all we say is onwards and upwards. fc united have been a breath of fresh air. and all we say is thanks to margy and the lads. COME ON F.C.UNITED....!

Collin - you are exactly what is WRONG with FC United. You have been sold some ill bilk of goods that FC will be moving up in the ranks every year. This is NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL!! If you like NON-LEAGUE football, good for you. But if you are trying to sub FCUBury for MUFC because of Glazer, large crowds, not enough money or whatever your excuse is this week you are tired and played out. Please stop comparing FCUBury to MUFC. You can steal the colors, copy the songs, but it doesn't change that FC is some bitter saddoe excuse for Premier League play. Have another Brother, the poor is still looking poor.

Come on who is going to own up to producing the FC Official website site as part of their homework. I would mark as 1/100 for the effort put in. If you want some clues as to how it can be done professionally take a peek at the Tampa Bucs website. Technically its going to be beyond you but at least it will give you something to aspire to. What with all these massive IT businesses sponsoring FC you would think you could come up with something a little less amateurish. Still it does fit the rest of the club and its ethos.

Now that AIG is going to be paying off the "debt" for a few years, can FCUBury stop trying to link itself to MUFC and trying to scares its fans into supporting pub league footie?

Report This Reply

No one has ever been 'scared' into supporting FCUoM. It comes from the heart and brain. It is called caring conviction, nothing to do with callous capitalism of the tampa ilk.

Report This Reply

Alternative meaning for the acronym AIG. Axe Invader Glazer. Anyone for any others? Take it the 13mill per year wont be spent on players. It wont even cover the interest on the debt. Wonder where the rest of the money will come from!
