FC United beat Unibond League first division side Woodley Sports 4-2 in a friendly last night.
The game was arranged after postponed fixtures left the newly formed side without a game in over two weeks.
Goals from Adie Orr, Joz Mitten, Darren Lyons and Simon Band handed FC victory.
The club yesterday signed 22-year-old striker Dave Swarbrick from Cumbrian side Holker Old Boys.
Swarbrick has also played for Barrow in the Conference North.

Didn't Dave Swarbrick used to be in Fairport Convention. Personally I think Richard Thompson is the better of the two.
Another excellent result albeit just a friendly, but considering Woodley are in a higher league it was an example of what lies ahead of us.
you will be soon be the best club in old trafford ,better than the rags
Woodley Sports rested some of their better players and put a very reserve oriented lineup on the pitch. As they say in Poland, don't get your undergarments too far up your backside.
And as we say in Newton Heath, when we want your opinion we'll ask for it.
I dinnae see anaethun to be impressed about. Anywae wae shudae had three penaltaes and wae totally dominated the wee game. As wae say in Glasgae do you wanna a Glasgae kiss?
I agree with Dash. As they say in Tampa village, get your undergarments in pink for Friday night
CheFCski were playing Woodley Juniors
I do agree with Dash. How did you know I would Tammy? Where is Tompa by the way? Glancing at the match photos I didn't think any women went to FC United of Bury matches. Malcolm, stop teasing the FCUoBury fans! They don't want to be known as CheFCski! They are perfectly happy representing the Greater Bury area. FC United of Bury is a revolution dammit! I can hear the Queen anthem cranking now when the Silverware (or is it plasticware) for the NWCounties Division II is handed out. Weeeeeee aarrrrrrr the Champioooooooons my friend . . . And we'll keeeepp on fightiiinnnnn tilll the end . . .
Tommy, you are so supportive of the Glazers, aren't you? You say that anybody's entitled to go and buy a football club, don't you? But I just have this funny feeling, call it a hunch, a little whisper at the back of my mind, a sneaking suspicion, a feeling in my bones, that if United were to be bought up by somebody else, somebody very different from the Glazers, say Mohammed Al Fayed, or Sheikh Rashid of Dubai perhaps, or the Sultan of Brunei, somebody like that, you wouldn't be quite so vociferous in your support.
B.S. Defector - you are correct indeed. Maybe you are starting to see the light. I don't hang out at the Glazer house or have them over for tea and crumpits, but I do know how well they have run the Buccaneers. They also, because of their good standing with other owners, have secured not ONE but TWO Superbowls for Tampa. Having the Superbowl in your town is a big deal. (imagine the FA final coming to Reebok Stadium in Bolton for comparison)
I think the handlers of FC are not representing the truth about the Glazer family. Even if you don't like the Glazers personally (which I don't) they have an 11 year track record with doing good things for the fans and good things for the Tampa community. The Glazer family foundation donates to local charities here. Despite all the rumors and garbage the media over there covers. Is most of that stuff true? Indeed. Are you only hearing 50% of the story. Yes. Have the MEN come and interview me and I'll tell them how it really is in Tampa. You won't hear about the corrupt Tampa Sports Authority that the Glazers have to deal with. Are the Glazers annoying and do they look and act like they couldn't play table tennis? Yes. Are they good for MUFC in the long run? Yes. Is there a football club in Bury making profit on their "spin" of the Glazer issue. Yes.
The most exciting thing I'm waiting for is MUFC coming to Tampa to play a friendly in Raymond James stadium. That would be a real treat.
Shame,i wanted Woodley to win.Never mind, laters Renegade Rags.UP THE BLUES!!!
Tommy stop picking on the little boys in the playgrond you are starting to make them cry. Talk about BS Defector "borrowing" an argument. Surely what you mean BS is that they would all be foreigners. That Michael Knighton now he was a Brit, totally incompetent but a Brit, which is the important part. Now how does the song go "Keep St George in my heart keep me English".
Tommy, answer the question. Would you support a takeover by the people that I've mentioned?
Something you may have missed on your side of the pond Malcolm is that MUFC is famed for the anti-England stance of a large proportion of its fans (it has even been noted in the media on several occasions). You are far more likely to hear songs about areas of the human anatomy where "England" can be placed than any of the Alf Garnett type stuff you are quoting.
Making the comparison between Glazer and Knighton is unfair as it was a totally diffent (pre-Premier League) era. As explained before football fan's knowledge of off-field politics has increased hugely in the last 15 years. Knighton was before my time but had I been there and not known anything about Knighton's financial state, I would have seen a potential owner coming out and juggling a ball and thought it was pretty amusing. Now fan's are far more clued up and such ball juggling antics would be taken with a large serving of salt.
As for the other argument, if someone simply wants to make money from MUFC whilst placing the club in extreme levels of debt and associated risk, I'd despise them regardless of whether they are a Sheihk or a Gnome.
In conclusion the xenophobia argument has been used before and it doesn??TMt wash. I realise its just being used to provoke but it would be more interesting to have a more plausible argument presented.
The last thing I want is for the Bucs to come to Manchester and play at Old Trafford. I do not even like Rugby teams damaging the turf. I would not watch American football if I was paid to go.
FCUM Veg if Cubic Expression and a whole lot more shareholders had not sold their shares Glazer would not have been able to acquire a controlling interest in United. So if someone makes someone else an offer that they can't refuse do you blame the buyer or the sellers? Cubic were in it for the money too and would have sold when the time suited them. When was the last time you heard them being criticised? As you say things have changed a lot with the Premier League and while idealism is all very fine United are competing both financially and on the football field in a capitalist economy. I think the ideas that Tommy has raised in the way this position of financial muscle has been curtailed in the NFL is a model we should be looking to for the Premier League.
Glazer this, yawn, Cubic that, yawn, debt the other, yawn, Schizo malc aka the other free red Zzzzzzz
