FC United ticket talks

FC UNITED members will discuss cutting their season ticket prices for next year after reporting to members that the fledgling club "s in a healthy financial position.

On course for promotion from the Moore and Co Solicitors League second division, the club has also taken on two full-time staff, is about to advertise for a third, and will report bumper sales of merchandise, the profits from which will all be ploughed back into the club.

The board is proposing that admission prices for home games will be frozen at '7 for adults and '2 for under-18s.

It will be among the proposals put to the club's membership at their first annual meeting, to be held at the Central Methodist Hall in Manchester on March 21.

See the little birdy was right. Nows the chance to put it right with the BMA charity. Get your cheque book out Chief Executive and hand over the 100k. Now that would be impressive.

I can well afford a seven quid ticket. After paying two, three, four and even five times that at OT I think most fans can. But bearing in mind we are in such a healthy financial position, I will be voting for the ticket price reduction to benefit others and make a donation to the Russell Delaney Memorial Fund. As well as renewing my season ticket, I will also make a second direct payment to the Bhopal medical appeal and continue the monthly payments into my MUST account. Thats my next seasons home league games paid for. Another full time job being created as well. Fantastic!

I agree Malcolm, if they wanted to support the Greenpeace "Alamo" with all the other tree-huggers and Fox-hunting-Stoppers they would have left the ticket prices as is and donated the profits. That way an embarrassing donation to the BMA doesn't have to be on their website.

Fickle Red was it you who donated the 400GBP? Awesome you are a regular little Florence Nightinggale as well as one of the best map readers in the country. You must be bagging a fair few illegal parkers to be able to fund such munificence. Still I guess the salary from FC helps. Why don't you employ the people who were made redundant from Real United? I guess they don't meet your criteria. They were both capable and competent.

Down on Animal Farm all is going to plan. The long postponed meeting is being held with just the right amount of venom from lackeys who threaten dissident supporters even thinking of voting out of turn or exercising their right to bring points forward. Hence the discussions on the shirt sponsorship consist of intimidatory remarks to those previously loyal persons who question the need for a NWCFL team needing this. Meanwhile a supporter suggesting that he could raise queries with board members is told that since these persons do this voluntarily they are not paid to answer questions. This hostile atmosphere has produced the promise of a third employee for community relations. How the pigs must be enjoying their new found protection racket.

We don't need this inflated employee structure where vast sums are invested on someone in wider community relations. We already have a community of 3000 regular supporters and probably a similar amount non attending. As we have no ground what is the point trying to develop links in Manchester in competition with those clubs that do? What we DO need is to foster a genuine club atmosphere like our fellow fans team AFC wimbledon that have 25 teams across youth and old and females. Someone to engage with our current membership and take things forward is far better. Finally its all very well saying our accounts are in such good shape but lets have a budget and 3 year financial and development plan rather than little snippets thrown to the rest of the animals....In the non Orwellian world, Chief execs really do this sort of thing and accountability does not need to be confined to the Board.
Since it is impossible to raise this on the main supporters forum we can expect more 'solidarity' statements to attack those of us who mildly question what is being done in our name "the board are doing such a great job"....arent they???

What is it about I PAID DIRECT into the appeal fund that someone cant understand. I think its time big mouth put his money where his mouth is. As I have said before, I am not employed by FC nor am I a Board Member. He doesnt have the imagination to working out what I do. He is not even close. But Im willing to bet Malc aka the other free red aka Harry and that Tommy aka Dash Walny (the Andy Walsh anagram) moonlighting as Mal have a financial incentive to spread lies and deceit about FC. Malc likes George Orwell aka Eric Blair. I prefer Churchill who said. Victory at all cost, because without victory, there is no survival. I will always support the meaning of United but not the Glazers. NOT ONE PENNY

Harrys Bar you have driven a bus through the arguments of the board and their lackeys - take a bow Fickle Red (all should board members and Chief Executive should be immediately accountable if they do not properly represent members interests). There is a very strong Orwellian theme to the bleatings of the lackeys who regularly see every challenge as a threat. There may yet be hope for ChFCski. Vive la REAL revolution. Down with the Plastics.

Seems to me that not much of importance will be decided at the AGM. Funny how the board runs the club like it owns the team. Just throw a few bread crumbs to the pigeons and hype the "revolution" and the dummies line up like sheep with cash in hand. Besides firing redundant employees and employees that had to do with United being a public company, what exactly has changed at the real team? Oh that right, Glazer managed to get rid of the dead-wood fans in the process. Maybe he is a genius.

Free Tread - I don't get any cash from the Red Football, but big daddy Malcolm owns my favorite NFL team and runs the team quite well for that matter. The Glazers boys run the team from behind the scenes and let the coaches and general manager handle the football (gridior) matters. The team runs like a well-oiled machine that has been worked on by some fellows from Blackpool. And they are doing the same with MUFC. I just like winding up ignorant sports fans, especially the fans of Fake Club United of Bury.

Schizo Malc aka the other free red (who posts to himself and Tommys latest post name). Have I to take it your refusal to answer means you wont be putting your money where your mouth is and making a donation to the Bopal Medical Appeal. Do as I say and not as I do really does sum you up. Lets face facts, all you are interested in doing is biging yourself up as some stereotypical redder than red who cant see further than his own egotistical dislike of FC United. This is not just a FC United matter; it includes all. You and Tommy are should hang your heads with shame (if you had any). To describe you as being the most soulless pair of miserable cynics ever would be an insult to soulless miserable cynics everywhere. I will double my donation which, will be considerably more than the 10p you might have put in the hat.

Yellow Red. You are the real schizophrenic and are fast losing the plot. BMA calls CheFCski an ally because it donated 400gbp. So your donation cannot have been anywhere near that. as for donations thats my business not yours but when are CheFCski going to make a significant contribtion. One minute Tommy is in the singular and then you refer to the plural. You really are a very sad bean counter who can't and doesn't count. Beep beep. Toodle pip.

Why is Tommy aka the other Malc answering for Schizo Malc aka the other free red. Can anyone really be that dumb? What on earth is it about PAID DIRECT they dosnt understand. Surely they dont think I mean direct to the club! I mean DIRECT TO THE CHARITY obviously - Doh!!! There is a link on the FC United Web-site. I am willing to bet they have never donated a penny to anything in their life unless they benefited from it.

Fickle Yellow Fellow. You must have donated thousands with the amount of crowing you have done. How convenient it was direct to save you the embarrasment of not having given a cent. Lets hope BMA are given the 100k FCUM can easily afford or are you going to keep making phantom donations ? Talk is cheap. Lets see the cheque from FCUM half wit.

Well Free Tread, the only check made public from FCU of Bury to the Bhopal Medical Steal is the 400 pound monster. That would be around 21 pence per person at the last Gigg lane affair. If FCUB has given or taken more (not sure how it works). Is BOA paying FCUB for marketing purposes to pull in donations? That would be a shame if money donated to a charity somehow ends up in the pockets of a football club.

'You must have donated thousands with the amount of crowing you have done'. Ha, ha, ha. From one of the biggest liars this side of, well, Tampa. Now that was funny. Schizomalc aka the other free red
