ROCHDALE boss Steve Parkin had no problem with the decision to postpone Saturday's home game against Darlington.

Parkin hadn't enjoyed the spectacle of Dale's 1-1 draw with Bury in the previous home game at Spotland, which came close to being called off because of the icy conditions.

"We didn't want to play if the conditions were going to be like they were on Tuesday night," said Parkin.

"It was very difficult for the players and if people had walked on the pitch during the game they would have seen how bad the conditions were."
