BURY physio Joe Hinnegan has resigned and joined Chester City as their new assistant manager.

Hinnegan, a popular figure at Gigg Lane, started at the Shakers when former manager Graham Barrow was in charge.

But having spent a number of seasons with the club, Hinnegan fancied a new challenge and is excited about teaming up with Chester boss Keith Curle. Tweet
