Harrison has nothing but praise for the way Elland Road boss Kevin Blackwell has turned the troubled Yorkshire club around.
Leeds are now pushing for a play-off place in the Championship and are quite capable of shocking Wigan, the Premiership's surprise package, according to Harrison.
He said: "Blackwell is one of the most qualified coaches in the game. He came in for a lot of criticism and it's not been easy for him but a lot of the problems dated back to what went on before he became manager.
"We can't be doing too badly as a team when a player of David Healy's ability is having to make do with a place on the bench."
