ROCHDALE boss Steve Parkin believes the Spotland crowd can be an extra man as his side seek to maintain their promotion push at home to Chester on Saturday.
Dale returned to winning ways last weekend with a 2-1 victory at Bristol Rovers.
They sit fourth in League Two, just three points behind leaders Leyton Orient, and Parkin is happy with their progress.
"Whichever players we pick always give 100 per cent and our limited success so far has been based on our team ethic," he said.
"We need everyone to give of their best and that will certainly be the case against a very good Chester side.
"As a football club, we will need to be ready for the problems Chester will pose and our supporters have a big part to play in this.
"I can vouch for the fact the players will be ready, what we need is fans to be ready from the moment they walk through the turnstile."
Parkin knows he will need his strongest team available to face a Chester side which Dale beat 3-2 at the Saunders Honda Stadium last month.
"If tomorrow is anything like the game back in October, we are in for a rollercoaster ride," added Parkin.
"Chester have some very capable players within their ranks."
Parkin is still without the suspended Gareth Griffiths, but has defender Warren Goodhind fit again as his only possible change to the side that won at Bristol.
LAST SEASON: Dale 2 Chester 2
KEY OPPONENT: Michael Branch - full of pace and ability.
PREDICTION: Dale 2 Chester 1.
