WIGAN Athletic need just one more Premiership win to put arch-critic Rodney Marsh in the stocks and give fans the chance to pelt him with rotten tomatoes.

Football pundit Marsh bet that Wigan would not win more than seven games all season. But Paul Jewell's team has already achieved that in 10 games.

The Wigan boss said: "Some people dismissed us out of hand and showed a lack of respect."
