But manager Steve Parkin is warning his players to expect a tough afternoon.
"I only know their players by name, but we've had them watched a couple of times and they are a very strong side," said Parkin.
"Peterborough is never an easy place to go to, but if we play as well as we have been doing there is no reason why we can't come away with something."
After a slow start, Peterborough exploded into life with a 4-0 victory at Macclesfield last weekend.
And they followed that with a midweek win over Bristol Rovers in the LDV Trophy to further boost their confidence.
Parkin has no further injury worries, and is unlikely to make changes from the side that beat Notts County and Stockport County in the last two outings.
LAST SEASON: Different divisions.
KEY OPPONENT: David Farrell - a winger now in the veteran stage but very skilful.
PREDICTION: Peterborough United 1 Rochdale 2. Tweet
