Rochdale v Notts Co: Preview

ROCHDALE will not only be looking to close the gap on the leaders, but also to avenge a heavy defeat last season when they entertain Notts County tomorrow.

Manager Steve Parkin is more than happy with their form and place in the league but knows there is still room for improvement.

"We can still tighten up defensively and improve our concentration levels but we are certainly full of goals," he said.

"It's a good game for us because the lads will be looking to put right what happened last season."

Parkin will be without midfielder Tommy Jaczcsun who picked up a groin strain in the victory at Chester but Ernie Cooksey is back after a month out with a foot injury.

County, after a bright start, are in the middle of a bad run that has seen them slip from top to mid-table.

LAST SEASON: Rochdale 0 Notts Co 3

KEY OPPONENT: Glyn Hurst - striker scored a hat-trick in last season's game

PREDICTION: Rochdale 3 Notts Co 0
