OLDHAM striker Luke Beckett is standing by for his first full game of the season after recovering from knee damage, writes FRED AUSTIN.

The 28-year-old has made two brief appearances as a sub but insisted: "I can't wait to get going again."

Strikeres Chris Killen and Chris Porter picked up injuries in last week's win at Gillingham and have not trained all week. They will take late fitness tests before tomorrow's visit of Bournemouth and boss Ronnie Moore must decide whether to play Beckett.

Moore said: "Does he go in from the off or do we wrap him in cotton wool and let him come off the bench again? I was tempted to start with him last week, but because of injuries I might have to go with him this time."

Defender Guy Branston has recovered from a calf strain.
