BRADLEY Wright-Phillips guided Manchester City reserves to their first Barclays Premiership Reserve League North win of the season with a late winner at Sportcity last night, writes Neil Goulding.

Striker Wright-Phillips, last season's leading scorer for the Blues' second string, scored with three minutes to go.

Midfielder Stephen Ireland had fired City ahead two minutes before the interval.
