Peter, Can't believe you are using the 10 man excuse.Do you think evans would have made a positive contribution if he had still been on the pitch. If he hadn't pulled him down it would have been 2-0 City long before they scored the second.

United's problem was that the whole defence was a shambles. Rio looked what he is, an older player who has lost 2 yards of pace and didn't look bothered. We suspected for a while that Vidic has been covering for him and yesterday it showed. Evra looks suspect when he actually has to defend. even Jones, who obviously has a bright future looked like a deer in the headlights when he came on (hyped up too soon?).

Rooney was United's best midfield player. Where was he supposed to be playing? Nani and Young played off the park by Clichy & Richards.

City looked like a team that has spent £590 Million in the past four seasons, the oil won't last forever.

I think the whole City bench could have walked into the United first team not just Nasri & De Jong

10 man excuse?

If Clattenburg had done his job properly Anderson would have joined Evans for an early bath!

Well done Peter Spencer! If you were responsible for the presentation of Manchester Evening News paper yesterday - it was fantastic. The huge display of David Silva and the Manchester United 1 Manchester City 6 was resplendent for all to see. Front page and back page. WOW! No hiding place. I really do hope that this is the year when MCFC really do come out of the shadows and show the world what they can.

That cup on the table reminds me of my red card from a certain place; the answer is in the letter on the cup. Great reporting from the M.E.N on the Derby.
