Another great opportunity to kick some English butts (kidding) should be a great game. 1-nil to the USA, repeat of our last World Cup meeting.

My guess is Ghana in 2nd round; France in QF; Brazil in SF; Italy in Final.

If England don't get through this group to the next round I will eat my hat.

6 months of hysteria and hype and the boys will be back on the plane after the first knockout round or even sooner. hopefully we will not be exposed to months and months of the ****wags etc.

Years ago, I was watching the snooker world championships. Jack Carnham made a comment I've never forgotten. He was commenting on the players who were on form and said this: 'However good they are all playing there is one thing that is always in the back of their minds; that eventually they will have to come up against Stephen Hendry. To win the World Cup England will eventually have to beat either Brazil or Spain and that will be some achievement.
