ALTRINCHAM boss Graham Heathcote has released three players to make room for new signings this summer.

He has freed midfielder Warren Peyton, who made 152 Blue Square Premier appearances in four years with Alty, together with defender Chris Lane and striker Joe O'Neill.

Heathcote said: "I didn't really want to let any of them go but have had to do so to allow me to freshen up the squad."
