TRAFFORD Hawks increased their lead at the top of the Altrincham and District SFL Premier Division with a 2-0 home win over challengers Buck Inn.
Supplying the vital finish for the Hawks were Adam Turner and Melvin Morrison.
Vine Tavern climbed into third spot with a 3-1 win at Navigation Bay with their goals coming from Jordan McLoughlin, Garry Owen and Akim Williams. Bay’s consolation strike came from Terry Markham.
Chorlton Beech dropped out of the top three after losing 2-1 to Pelican who had Lee Weatherall and Andy Meadows netting.
Old Alts had a 4-0 win over Trafford FC with Warren Dickinson (2), Oliver Barnes and Danny McDonald scoring.
In Division One, Sale West United made it four wins on the trot, beating Bricklayers Arms 4-0, led by a brace from Steven Gatley.
Dane Road Central moved into third place with a 4-1 win over USC with strikes from Vegas Hamon, Dave Hampson, Richard Swain and Alan Gorman.
