REAL ESTATE - Used to describe the space/lack of space in the penalty area.
ON THE DIAGONAL SERVICE - A cross-field pass.
SLOW ROLLER - A weak shot.
SOME WHEELS - A quick turn of pace.
SOUTHPAW - A left-footed player.
STUTTER STEP - A step-over.
TAKEAWAY - An interception or tackle after which the player comes away with the ball.
UNLOAD - To kick a ball with maximum power.
UPPER 90 - a) The 90-degree angle between crossbar and post. b) A shot that goes in the the top corner of the goal.
UNCORK IT - To unleash a powerful shot.
WASTEBASKET - A pass that goes out of play.
