Rochdale

Preview: Lincoln City v Rochdale

AFTER two defeats in a week and just one point gained from the last nine Rochdale could do with a win at Lincoln tomorrow.

Alan Buckley will also be keen to pick up the points against one of his former sides, though he stressed that he viewed this match as no more important than any other.

"It means nothing to me going back there. We set out to win every game that we play in whatever the opposition, be it Lincoln, Tottenham or anyone," he said.

Buckley, still without suspended leading scorer Paul Connor, moved this week to fill the gap by signing Mikael Antoine-Curier on a non-contract basis and the big French striker may well start in place of Lee McEvilly.

After missing out in the play-off final last year Lincoln had made a disappointing start this time around but back-to-back wins now see them one place above Dale in mid table.

LAST SEASON: Lincoln 3 Rochdale 1

KEY OPPONENT: Ben Futcher - giant centre back who is a real threat at set-pieces.
