ROCHDALE head over the Pennines to face early pacesetters York, looking to extend their four-game unbeaten run in the league but with a depleted squad.

Long-term injury victim Gareth Griffiths is still sidelined, leading scorer Lee McEvilly is on international duty and loanee Chris Shuker starts a three-game ban.

Kevin Townson is likely to replace McEvilly with either Matt Doughty or Patrick McCourt coming in for Shuker.

Manager Alan Buckley expects a tough game but is looking forward to seeing how the enforced changes affect his side.

"These things happen during the season and you have to get on with it. We have good players in the squad who have been pushing for a place and I am sure they will be up for the game," he said.
