ROCHDALE'S never say die attitude saw them rescue a point in a topsy turvy and always entertaining game.
Leading scorer Glenn Murray gave Dale the lead on 11 minutes but they were hit by two George Boyd headers in as many minutes.
Danny Blanchett made it 3-1 to Peterborough but a Chris Dagnall double ensured Rochdale came away with a share of the spoils.
- THE end of the match was marred when a Peterborough supporter taking part in a post-match pitch invasion attacked a Rochdale player.
Substitute Glen Poole was attacked by a fan who was then apprehended by Rochdale's David Flitcroft and David Perkins. Poole was not badly hurt.
Peterborough later released a statement which read: "The Football club have banned a 'supporter' for life after an incident following the final whistle on Saturday at London Road. The police have arrested the offender who cannot be named and have taken statements from individuals involved. The club are co-operating fully with the police investigation."
