ROCHDALE boss Steve Parkin will be looking for cup relief at
Spotland tonight when his side take on Crewe in the Johnstone's
Paint Trophy.
After heavy back-to-back league defeats, Parkin will be forced into
changes, with striker Glenn Murray and midfielder Darrell Clarke
ineligible.
"There are players who can come in to do a job and this can be a
big week for us," Parkin said. "The players have got to get their
sleeves rolled up for two big games in five days.
"This is a competition that we treat very seriously, and if we can
do well, we can then look forward to the big derby against Bury on
Saturday."
Young striker Clive Moyo-Modise is likely to start. There is a
doubt over defender James Sharp, whose place may go to Jon
Boardman.
