Rochdale spent the virtually the whole of the first half being torn apart by a rampant Bournemouth but incredibly went in level for their half time cuppa.

The home side got off to a perfect start on five minutes when Marcus Browning was left unmarked to score but Dave Flitcroft equalised with a stunning volley eleven minutes later.

For the next half hour Bournemouth created chance after chance after chance and missed them all before giant striker Steve Fletcher restored their lead on 44 minutes.
