Rochdale

Preview: Hereford v Rochdale

ROCHDALE will be looking to continue their climb out of trouble at in-form Hereford on Saturday.

With his side unbeaten on their travels since before Christmas, manager Keith Hill is a happy man.

"We have created an environment in training that is reflected and replicated in games. The whole squad have a desire and hunger to win," he said.

"They understand how to win, they enjoy the feeling of winning and they are used to winning."

With leading scorer Chris Dagnell (foot) already sidelined, Hill will again have to make changes following a serious knee injury to skipper Gary Jones in the midweek win over Torquay.

"Gary is our Captain Marvel and is an example to the rest of the lads so it is a big blow to lose him," Hill added, "but we have players to come in."

David Perkins and Adam Rundle have both done well from the bench in recent weeks whilst Simon Ramsden, who missed the Torquay game with a calf injury, is likely to be fit.

Last season: No fixture. The teams last met at Hereford in September 1996 - it finished 3-0 to Hereford.

Key opponent: Steve Guinan - the Bulls striker scored a hat-trick in his last game against Lincoln.

Prediction: 2-2 - Dale will be confident of extending their unbeaten run.
