Rochdale

Preview: Rochdale v MK Dons

TWO teams seemingly heading in opposite directions meet when Rochdale entertain MK Dons tomorrow and it's a tough ask for Keith Hill's young side.

Despite taking seven points from their last four games, last weekend's postponement at Shrewsbury saw Dale slip into the bottom two. On the same day, the Dons underlined their promotion claims with an emphatic win 3-1 win over Barnet, courtesy of a hat-trick from ex-Dale striker, Clive Platt.

Hill will be without leading scorer, Chris Dagnall, who has a broken foot but is likely to include his three latest recruits, Adam La Fondre, Rory Prendergast and Dave Perkins.

Other than Dagnall's absence, Dale have no further injury or suspension worries for a game that they must win if they are to move out of the relegation places.

Last season: Different leagues

Key opponent: Izale McLeod - with 17 goals to his name this term McLeod will be the danger man.

Prediction: Rochdale 1 MK Dons 1 - A must win game for Dale, but it's never that straight forward.
