Rochdale created a stream of chances and the only surprise was it took 42 minutes for skipper Barry Jones to fire home from 12 yards.

A three-goal burst in seven minutes underlined Dale's dominance with leading scorer Chris Dagnall blasting home his ninth of the season.

Mocquet produced a terrific header and Glenn Murray curled home a fourth.
