JUST 48 hours after receiving the dreaded vote of confidence from his board of directors Rochdale manager Steve Parkin could only watch on in horror as his side dominated against high flying Peterborough but still lost.
After an understandably nervous opening Parkin's side went onto dominate but could find no way through a resolute Peterborough defence that specialises in clean sheets.
Their hearts were broken on 74 minutes when striker Aaron Mclean was allowed to turn in the box and drill a 15 yard effort between keeper Matthew Gilkes and his near post.
And with both Boston and Macclesfield winning, Dale are being sucked into a relegation battle.
What is your verdict on the game? Have your say.
