ROCHDALE will be hoping that they are making the trip to managerless Darlington at exactly the right time tonight.

With Mark Jackson already sidelined with a thigh injury, manager Steve Parkin is keeping his fingers crossed that Nathan Stanton will have recovered from the injury that he picked up in last weekend's game against Shrewsbury.

Stanton is rated at no more than 50-50 for the game and, if he fails a late fitness test, Jon Boardman is his likely replacement.

Darlington parted company with manager David Hodgson on Thursday following his suspension for allegedly chasing the Bournemouth job.

Despite investing heavily in the summer the Quakers have not made the best of starts and Parkin will be hoping that the controversy that currently surrounds them will help his side.
