Worcester 1 Rochdale 2

ROCHDALE continued their pre-season preparations with a hard-fought win - despite the tropical heat.

After a scruffy opening, striker Iyseden Christie benefited from a mistake by home keeper McDonnell to open the scoring.

The home side hit back early in the second period following a mistake by trialist Alex Lawless and when the ball was played into the box striker Craig Wilding headed home.

The winning goal came on 64 minutes when midfielder John Doolan burst into the penalty area before producing a clever finish with the outside of his right foot.

Parking was right with the long hard struggle, two single goal victorys against part time opposition is not convincing, a couple of defeats against, city and oldham will dent the confidence and
when the league starts we will get a shock in the step up in class against swindon, a heavy loss is on the cards, parkin out now before it is too late and we're languishing at the foot of the table at christmas.
