ROCHDALE boss Steve Parkin has lost out on Wayne Corden after the midfielder agreed to join Leyton Orient.

Corden, who helped the O's to promotion from League Two while on loan from Scunthorpe, has signed a two-year deal at Brisbane Road.

Meanwhile, Rochdale's new pitch is coming along well.

Groundsman Phil Collinson told the club's website: "The grass is coming through nicely at the moment and we are happy with the way things have gone."
