ROCHDALE boss Steve Parkin has not offered a contract to midfielder David Flitcroft.
Rumours that the 32-year-old midfielder would be on his way back to Spotland after being released by Bury have been denied by Parkin.
He said: "Although I have the greatest respect for Flitcroft, I can confirm I haven't offered him a deal to return to Spotland. We know we need to strengthen other positions first and my priorities are two wide players and two central defenders.
"In each case, I've identified the players I'd like to bring to the club and have made offers to these players. We now have to wait to see what happens and act accordingly."
