ROCHDALE manager Steve Parkin, despite his team's fading play-off hopes, is still looking for a strong finish to the season - starting against Orient at Spotland tomorrow.

"This is the first of two successive home fixtures and I am desperate to win them both ," he said.

"All the players are contracted until the end of June, and they have a responsibility to play every game as if it is their last.

"They, like me, must try to finish in as high a position as possible.''

Parkin has no injury problems, but leading scorer Grant Holt starts a three-match after picking up 15 yellow cards.

His place in attack is likely to go to New Zealander Leo Bertos or youngster Leighton McGivern.

KEY OPPONENT: Lee Steele - small, lively and quick, with an eye for goal.
