STEVE Parkin's side are within touching distance of the play-off places and the Rochdale manager is looking for help from the fans against second-placed Scunthorpe.

"Our excellent performance at Swansea sets us up for yet another vital game and we need the people of the town to get right behind us now and create a real carnival atmosphere," he said.

Parkin will have to make at least one change, having been unsuccessful in his appeal against the red card received at Swansea by striker Paul Tait.

One option available to him is to reshuffle his pack and move Ricky Lambert from midfield, as the former Stockport ace has registered four goals in his six starts.
