ROCHDALE boss Steve Parkin is unlikely to make wholesale changes for tonight's LDV Trophy game against Conference side Scarborough.

Parkin has just 17 fit players available and said: "We are coming off the back of a heavy defeat and our form is poor.

"But we have to take the game very seriously."

Central defenders Daryl Burgess and Greg Heald are both sideline so teenager Kevin Gibbens may be handed a debut.

Another youngster, Leighton McGivern, is also likely to start up front in place of the misfiring Paul Tait. Tweet
