Rochdale

Preview: Rochdale v Bury

ROCHDALE go into tomorrow's derby game at Spotland in good heart following successive league wins and an excellent performance in the Carling Cup against Wolves.

Manager Steve Parkin, hoping to carry on the good work, said: "We have to play with the same drive and spirit that we have shown in recent games because we know that Bury will make it hard for us.

"It's vital that we take all the positives out of the Wolves game and use them because as ever Graham Barrow will have his team well organised, physically strong and disciplined."

Though Grant Holt and Gary Jones both picked up knocks on Monday, both are expected to start and Parkin is likely to name an unchanged starting XI for the third game in succession.

LAST SEASON: 0-0

KEY OPPONENT: David Nugent - the young striker will have had his confidence boosted by early season goals

Prediction: Rochdale 1 Bury 1
