Rochdale

Rochdale boss Steve Parkin has spoken of his delight at signing Neil Brisco and is confident he will not be Dale's only summer acquisition. Brisco put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the Division Three club this week and Parkin believes he will fit in well at Spotland. "Physically he's a very strong lad and I think he'll prove to be a real good signing for us,'' said Parkin."This season I feel our division is going to be full of big strong teams and we need not only to be able to play, but to able to deal with the physical side of things too, and Neil will certainly be able to do that.'' Parkin is aiming to further bolster his squad in the coming week and is confident of attracting a few new faces to join the club.Parkin added: "We have more irons in the fire and hopefully a couple of meetings Ihave coming up will prove fruitful. "It's important that I make sure we have at least two more signed before I go away on my family holiday next weekend and I'm fairly confident we can do that.''
