ROCHDALE are confident the home game against Port Vale will go ahead after supporters helped clear snow and ice off the pitch earlier in the week.
And Keith Hill's table-toppers are boosted by the permanent signing of striker Chris O'Grady.
The former Oldham hitman netted 12 goals during a 21-game loan spell at Spotland and formed a devastating strike partnership with Chris Dagnall.
After weeks of protracted talks between the neighbouring clubs, a fee, in the region of £85,000, was agreed this week with O'Grady penning a two-and-a-half-year deal at Spotland.

No doubt you could be exchanging places with us at the end of season, pity as it would have really been a Derby match to look forward to twice a season, ah well it's football I guess, we'll just have to start going to Fleetwood Town more often now, even they appear to have more ambition than O.A.F.C. these days.
GOOD LUCK CHRIS O'GRADY - most of the fans know that you never had a fair chance with us under three Managers including Mr Royle himself- he's lost it anyway !.... so perhaps doesn't count eh ?
