Stanton was shown red in the 4-2 win, but the FA's decision means he is free from suspension and can play a part as Dale look for a fourth consecutive win.
It's been a good week for manager Keith Hill, who was relieved to see the closure of the transfer window and still retain the services of highly-rated teenager Will Buckley.
"It was important to keep the likes of Will Buckley at the club. There had been a lot of speculation and publicity surrounding him and I think a lot of that had been brought to the fore by his agent and people representing him. I think Will has been put under a little bit of pressure.
"Will is a good player - he'll get better and his future will take care of itself as long as he does the business on the pitch and at this stage of his career this is the best place for him," Hill added.
Full-back Tom Kennedy has signed a new contract keeping him at Spotland until the end of next season, while experienced striker Lee Thorpe has penned a new six-month deal.
Striker Lee McEvilly will be pushing hard for a starting place after scoring in the win at Chester on Tuesday. If Hill opts to rest Buckley, McEvilly will partner Chris Dagnall up front.
