Rochdale

Preview: Chester v Rochdale

ROCHDALE will have defender Nathan Stanton available for tonight's game against Chester City at the Deva Stadium.

Stanton was sent off in Saturday's 4-2 win at Aldershot, but Dale's appeal did not reach the FA HQ in time so Stanton will now be available to play.

A decision will now be made on Thursday so any ban that must be served will come into force against Morecambe at Spotland on Saturday.

Manager Keith Hill is short of options but is unlikely to recall Marcus Holness from his loan spell at Barrow.

With Nathan D'Laryea out of favour, Hill could play Simon Ramsden.

"I'm pretty pleased with the way things are going and we have a decent squad," Hill said.

"Things are going well for us at the minute. We're pleased with the way the players are developing and sometimes people are too quick to judge what we are trying to do here, the players trust us so I think everybody else should trust us.

"It's no surprise how well we are doing and we've just got to keep that going and if we do we'll be successful."
