Dagenham & Redbridge 3 Rochdale 2

ROCHDALE lost out in a topsy turvy game at Dagenham and Redbridge.

The hosts took the lead on nine minutes, Sam Saunders’ corner met by Mark Arber who diverted the ball past Fielding unchallenged from seven yards.

Dale drew level when Jones earned what appeared a soft freekick in the 16th minute, brought down 25 yards out in a central position by Soloman Taiwo.

Tom Kennedy struck a sweet left-footed effort round the wall and past Tony Roberts in the Daggers’ goal.

Five minutes later Dale had the lead. Thompson’s low all across the face of goal was backheeled in the danger zone by Le Fondre and Adams got in ahead of his marker to poke the ball home from close range.

Saunders levelled for the hosts in the 73rd minute with a low volley from the left of the box and Glen Southam hit the hosts’ third minutes later.
