ROCHDALE Leicester City winger Nicky Adams has joined Rochdale in a one-month loan deal.

Keith Hill chased the 22-year-old last summer - only to see him opt for a £100,000 move to the Walkers Stadium.

But after making just 16 appearances, Adams has become frustrated at his lack first team opportunities. The deal will run until next month, but the Wales under-21 international has hinted he would be happy to extend his stay.

Adams said: "In the last month or so I have not really figured so I spoke to the gaffer saying that I just want to be playing. Hopefully I can get some games under my belt while I am here and if all goes well maybe stay for longer."
