Rochdale 1 Bournemouth 1

ADAM Le Fondre’s second half strike cancelled out a controversial Bournemouth penalty at Spotland as Rochdale extended their unbeaten run to 10 league games.

Keith Hill’s men had the better of the first half but fell behind on the stroke of half time to a Lee Bradbury penalty, Marcus Holness having pulled Matt Tubbs’ shirt in the area.

Tubbs appeared to be in an offside position when the ball was played forward and referee Graham Laws incurred the wrath of the home crowd for awarding the penalty.

Rochdale levelled in the 67th minute when a one-two between Clark Keltie and Le Fondre ended with the striker peeling off his marker and thumping a thunderous finish into the roof of the net from 12 yards.
