ROCHDALE assistant manager Dave Flitcroft is confident the side can bounce back from their FA Cup exit at the hands of Forest Green when they travel to Darlington.

"The mourning following our FA Cup defeat is over," he said. "Last weekend was probably the lowest point since I have been at the club.

"If we can bounce back at Darlington it will erase the memory to some extent and that is how football works."

Dale will be strengthened by the return of skipper Gary Jones and striker Chris Dagnall, both injured. Adam Rundle, rested at Forest Green, is in line to to return to midfield with Marcus Holness likely to replace the suspended Rory McArdle.
