Victories over Chesterfield and Accrington Stanley have elevated Keith Hill's team to the brink of the play-off places, a position they can consolidate with a win over the rugged southerners.
Right-back Simon Ramsden is out for a month after sustaining a calf injury at Accrington last Sunday, striker Jon Shaw and midfielder Mark Jones miss out due to hamstring problems and Kallum Higginbotham is ruled out with a badly bruised foot.
Hill told the club's official website: "Dagenham have a real combination of power, pace and ability. They create opportunities, are very offensive and the wide players do like to score goals - I think that Sam Saunders has got five in eight."
