Midfielder Clark Keltie is expected to return after missing last week's home defeat by Wycombe and, despite a stuttering start to the campaign, manager Keith Hill is confident his side will come good.
"We were in a similar position last year, with five points on the board after five games and on re-assessing the squad, I don't think we are far away," said Hill.
"We need to iron out the individual errors and start converting our chances, but I don't think we look like leaking wholesale goals and I'm sure once we start to convert chances we will be the team everybody expects us to be.
"If we can strengthen by bringing someone in on loan then we will because we are always looking to improve."
