KEITH Hill has won the League Two manager of the month award after a run which has led Rochdale to the play-off places.
Dale have won five out of six league matches during January and now lie seventh, just six points off the automatic promotion spots.
After starting the month with a home victory over Darlington, Dale then went on to keep up their remarkable away record, which has seen them go undefeated in the league on their travels since an opening-day defeat at Peterborough.
Hill beat Stockport boss Jim Gannon to the award, along with Darlington's Dave Penney and Grimsby manager Alan Buckley.

Well done to Keith Hill he fully deserves the award. His Dale team are an amaizing away side, if they can replicate that form at Spotland the team could well achieve the long awaited promotion, without the play-offs
