Rochdale

Preview: Chester v Rochdale

SWASHBUCKLING Rochdale face a fourth successive away game when they make the trip to Chester tonight.

Dale, on cloud nine after beating the high-flying MK Dons at the weekend face the Cheshire set who have picked up just one point from their last seven games.

But Spotland boss Keith Hill will be making sure that his team take nothing for granted even though his team remain unbeaten on their travels since the start of the season.

A realistic Hill said: "It as a Titanic effort by the players on Saturday and it showed the belief in the squad.

"Many a team could have gone under and the sending-off would have provided an easy excuse.

" I have been involved in those scenarios as a player, but never as a manager because we know what we have in our squad.

"They believe in each other and meet every challenge head on.

"Chester are a good side with a great manager and they still have the majority of the players who beat us in our second game of the season.

"They are a tough obstacle and we take nothing for granted, be it our form or the opposition. It is a game that we go into the game with our usual manner of trying to win with a positive attitude."

Hill is still desperately trying to strengthen his wafer thin squad but is unlikely to make changes from the side that won on Saturday although his search for a proven striker goes on.

Last season: Chester 0 Rochdale 1

Key opponent: Ritchie Partridge - Former Liverpool trainee has ability

Prediction: Chester 1 Rochdale 1 - Tiredness could be a factor but Dale should earn a point
