STAND-IN boss John Sheridan has called on draw specialists Oldham to stop dropping points when they visit Rushden and Diamonds tomorrow.
The Latics have drawn 12 of their 26 games this season, the most in the country, and it is costing them dear as they have slipped back to 17th place in the table, just seven points off the relegation places.
Oldham will be boosted by the return of the versatile John Eyre after completing a two-match ban. But it leaves Sheridan with a selection headache.
He said: "John has been one of our better players this season and it makes it difficult for me."
Six-goal striker Calvin Zola will miss his fifth successive game with a niggling back injury and Sheridan said: "The sooner we get him back the better."
Rushden have settled into mid-table after being promoted last season and Sheridan, who scored against them in a 3-2 win back in August, added: "They have had some very good results and we are going to have to be fully focused."
